In cooperation with several American and European advisors & consultants, we have developed efficient strategies against potential risks and threats that may arise from the misuse of certain online and offline media in order to harm somebody's reputation. On the other hand, we have developed new solutions to fight against commercial piracy and counterfeiting, which cost corporates huge material losses, in addition to affecting their reputations sometimes.
As a matter of fact, a good reputation is one of the most valuable assets of any legal entity (company, institution, organization, ...) because it is considered as the key factor of trust and the untold secret of success. Nowadays, with the rapid evolution of telecommunication technologies and the proliferation of online media that enhance the free expression of opinions and personal views (forums, blogs, social networks and online news portals), it has become easier for anyone to damage the reputation of any legal entity, since it is possible for one person who has a very personal interest, to spread a rumor, and other people will repeat this rumor until it becomes an established fact in the public opinion, while the victim will not be given a fair and equal chance to defend himself (or herself).
In practice, the restoration of a lost reputation is often possible. But the best solution is to always maintain and protect good reputation in order to avoid its sudden deterioration. Generally, the process of reputation management or reputation restoration is a complex task which can not be achieved simply by launching a series of positive news & information about the affected entity, but this task should be accomplished in several stages, based on a comprehensive action plan.
In the first stage, we start by collecting bad news and unflattering information, which might be spread across the Internet or any other medium, in various formats (text, audio or video). We monitor and analyze these negative news and information by means of sophisticated software that have been developed specifically for this purpose, then we respond to them appropriately, through a comprehensive public relations campaign.
In normal cases, our role is to maintain a good reputation and positive image of the client in the eyes of his own potential stakeholders, as well as the general opinion.
In the case of a damaged reputation, our mission is to restore the client's reputation and to eliminate any potential threats that might worsen the situation.
In the last stage, we provide the client with a comprehensive and detailed report summarizing the general results, including the main news, information, reactions, reviews and comments that we were able to gather during the campaign. That report contains also some recommendations and advices for the client to strengthen his reputation, in the long run.
